Dear Tom Pace,

Hello my name is Larry Baker and I am currently locked up in a Texas prison and I have read The Kid & The CEO Mentor and to tell you the truth I really loved this book. I was just like Tony putting the blame on someone else, but after reading this book I have given my life over to Christ and I have maned up and took the blame for my crime, I know you Guarantee $50 if I didn’t like it but I can’t lie for fifty, I loved the book and I have read The E-Myth Revisited by Michael Gerber, How to win Friends & Influence People by Dale Carnegie , the purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren, and I really loved all of those books. I keep reading them daily and I really Love The “Mentor The Kid & The CEO” Thank you for your time to write this book and may God Bless You Always.

Fifty would help but I have God on my side.

Sincerely

Larry B.

Pace Family,

Hello, My name is Gevork, George. Ekmekchyan and I am currently in prison for robberies. I was sentenced to 10 years with 85% and I have been in prison for 8 years and I am almost out of here. I just wanna say WOW! This book has changed my life! I know I can one day “like Tony” get married & own my own business and just live life! I wish I had a Mentor myself! I have been in prison since I was 20 but now I am 28! I have been doing time since I was 14 years old! I come from a really good Christian/Armenian family but I just loved crime ! I had the wrong type of mentors! Can you please help me out with getting a mentor like Malcom? I just read The Kid & The CEO in about 2-3 days & I am already applying it to my everyday life.

I am also a Christian & a drug addict! Drugs are my downfall! I don’t know, I guess I am writing you this letter to see if you guys can maybe set me up with a mentor or maybe send me a book or too. I am waiting to go to a half way house right now. I am getting out of prison about 6 months early. I just don’t want to come back!

I wish I can one day be like Malcolm! Thank you for taking time to read this.

God Bless You All,

Ekmekchyan G.

Dear Pace Family,

Hello, my name is Dominic Charles Scilipote and I have just finished reading ” Mentor The Kid & The CEO.” This book has inspired me to read again. I’m 52 years old and I have bad eyes but with +200 readers (Glasses) I can read. But I didn’t read hardly at all until I finished this book. WOW what a read this was. Yes, I’m in jail in Idaho right now, and we are allowed to have books sent to us from a vendor or church. With that being said in this book you mentioned other inspirational books that I’d like to read, but I don’t have anyone to send them to me. I’m also indigent without any money on my books so if at all possible can you please send me a copy of any or all of the following,

  1. The Greatest Miracle in the World
  2. The E-Myth Revisited
  3. How to Win Friends & Influence People by Dale Carnegie
  4. Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill

I already have a copy of ” Purpose Driven Life” by Rick Warren which is also mentioned in your book and I’m reading it now.

Even if you can’t send me any other books I asked you for, I want to thank you for inspiring me to read books again. I can feel my life is going to change now. Thank you so much for the help you have given me.  God Bless You All.

Sincerely,

Dominic S.

To Mr. Tom Pace & Family

Greetings to you. It’s truly an honor to write you and say Thank you for sending your collection of books to prison. The Kid & The CEO, Purpose Driven Life and The Think and Grow Rich have truly had a profound impact on my life. These books have stirred a hunger for Positive change in my life. Mr. Pace I’m 54 yes old and have a Positive Outlook on life now that I’ve never experienced before. I suddenly have a Desire to do Positive Things in my life. I have Dreams and Desires of Great things I want to Achieve and I will. I truly Believe that now. I am currently attending GED classes and will achieve that also. There are also 6 books I would like to receive, soon, and study and apply before I am released, Mr. Pace. They are:

  • How to Win Friends and Influence People
  • Unlimited Power
  • 7 Habits of Highly Effective People
  • The Richest Man in Babylon
  • Influence: Science and Practice
  • Developing the Leader within You.

My goal also is to get a Mentor through your program that you mentioned in The Kid and The CEO. I was toughed also by that story- but the Mentorship is what really did it.  In my 20’s I was wild and enjoyed wild living. I was Blessed to work in the Oil/Gas Industry also, but my Out- of- Control ways messed that up. One company I worked for was H&P Drilling Inc from Alice Tx was a great job, but I allowed my reckless attitude and Behavior to mess that up and I got Blackballed from that company . As I looked back at all that Mr. Pace I’ve recently had a desire to send the company a letter of Apology and to Bless that company for there success. I come up for Parole in August of 2021 and I’m looking forward to it with a Positive Outlook and Expectancy Mr. Pace Thank you for impacting a Positive change in my life through your books and I look forward to your Mentorship Program upon my release.

Mr. Pace Thank you so much for your time and I look forward to hearing from you soon

Sincerely, Benny P.M.

Dear Pace Family,

I am presently incarcerated in a prison in Texas. I was given the book ” Purpose Driven Life” from the prison Chaplain. on the book cover was a disclaimer sating that the book was a gift from you, the Pace Family. I just wanted to write and express my appreciation for ministering the forgotten children of God in prison. Do you have any other type of ministry? If so could you send me information describing your ministry and the services you offer? Again, thank you for your love and service in Christ.

Sincerely,

Roy C

To Whom it may concern,

I’m writing this letter in regards to think and grow rich. I just finished reading the book for the second time and I’ve been applying the principles to my every day life without failure. Sitting in prison I grew accustomed to Playing the Victim Role but soon realized that only I am responsible for my circumstance and only I can change my current circumstance. The principles in this book has forever altered my outlook on life and I can never go back to that old me. I am rich in mind and material objects of gain have no value to me.

I’m writing this letter to inform you that I’m a reader of this book and would be honored if you are able to provide me with detailed information about the law of success. It will be highly appreciated and will be repaid in abundance. I will share all the knowledge obtained by the material. I hope to hear from you soon, I hope all is well with you and your families with all that is going on in the world.

Stay blessed

Best,

Jamal P

Mr & Mrs Pace & Family,

Hi, My name is Adam Barnhart & I wanted to take this time to thank you for the gifts you have shared. Your family has given Think and Grow Rich & Purposed Driven Life & Mentor. I am currently incarcerated in Shawnee, I have been in this facility for 2 months now. And I have the blessing to come across these books. The Mentor gave me chills & also made me cry to see a man with a pure heart dedicated himself to being selfless and going the extra mile for a stranger. Not to mention the (118) book list that I Copied & told myself I would read. TO my surprise I had already read a couple of them. Well I have them on my cellphone on my Audible App. 7 habits of highly effective people, How to Win Friends & Influence People. The Dream Giver. I also have listen to many Zig Ziglar Seminars on YouTube when I was out. Right now I am Reading the Purpose driven life & also interacting with it think & grow rich, Awaken the Giant Within by Tony Robbins. My friend sent that after I requested it & Also How to be a Real Estate investor.

I have 1 year 8 months in total to Complete my Sentencing. So I have decided that I am gonna put it to good use. My Focuses Are Mind, body & Soul. I have been committed to maxing out 1, 000 reps of Push-ups, Squats and Power Push-Ups off the top bunk.  I’ve committed to getting up at 6am & working out though out the day & Convinced my cell mate to join. Second I have committed to Reading & Completing the purpose driven life. I also have Joined up with another Gentleman from another Cell to Participate. As Well I Got My Cell mate to Read the bible with me After Morning Work Outs. Then Pray

This last part is the reason I have felt in my heart to reach out to you. I have made up my mind to study, the list of books on personal development to better My Self. But I also know from the Many books i have read or listened to that i need a mentor. Would you be willing to guide me to Someone who is a real estate investor of Much Success through honesty & integrity So I may learn from them. I would be ever so grateful & in your debt for this blessing. Thank you for your time. Also for your gifts they mean the world to me.

Adam 🙂

Dear Mr. Pace,

My name is Victoria Dennis and come July 2nd I will have been incarcerated for half my life. I feel I should send you $50 but I am unable to do so. Your book ” Mentor The kid & the CEO” has changed my life.

For twenty years I have been focused on just doing one more day. I haven’t taken action, I’ve reacted. I have 15 years left on my sentence yet for the first time I am focused on my future and my present. I am beginning an exercise regimen. I’ve started a dream list. I have a journal with your list an how I can accomplish each item here & now. I am even filing for Clemency.

Anyhow, I just wanted you to know that your book spoke to me, encouraged me and uplifted me. Thank you for being an agent of change in my life.

Respectfully

Victoria D.

Thank you for “Think and Grow Rich.” I have also read “Mentor: The Kid & The CEO,” and I greatly appreciate you enabling me to read these books by gifting them to us. I am currently an inmate in the Tulsa County Jail. My trial will not start until late fall or early next year. I am making the best of my time by trying to learn what I can so that I can be a positive role model for my peers and my community.

I saw the address on the back of the “Think and Grow Rich” book, so I thought I would tell you thanks for inspiring me to do bigger and better things. I also wanted to ask if you could send me more reading materials that could help me exercise my mind so I continue to grow both spiritually and mentally. Thank you and God bless.

Hi! I pray that when you receive this letter your health and spirits are good.

My name is Mancelino G. I’m 44 years old and I just finished reading your book, “Mentor: The Kid & The CEO.” This is my first book I ever read from start to finish. It was the best book, not just saying that because it was my first book, but I felt you were talking to me. Right now I’m lying in my bunk in jail writing you this letter, and I can’t wait to get out and be like Tony or Gary. I just want to say thank you for writing this book. May God bless you, and I hope to read more books like this in the future. Thank you.

Much love,

Mancelino G.

Greetings. I am writing in reference to your books “Mentor: The Kid & The CEO,” and “Think and Grow Rich,” by Napoleon Hill. In the first book, I could put myself in the kids’ position. Even being 47 years old, I’ve been released from prison on 5 different occasions, always to return right back to what I’ve always done. I am now looking for and seeking out a mentor. For the first time since I was 19 years old, I have been given a new hope through these two books. So I am here to say ‘thank you’ from the bottom of my heart……….

With much gratitude,

Richard S.

A heartfelt holiday/thank you card from those receiving our books in the Metropolitan Detention Center. This facility is sponsoring an inmate-led reading program using the books we’ve donated. The program has had over 600 participants in 2019!

Hello & Happy Thanksgiving!

My name is Dale D. My writing at this time is two fold:

1. To express my deepest thanks to the Pace Family and the World Book Bank. Approx. 3 months ago, the facility commissary officer came in, bringing with her a small collection of books: The Purpose Driven Life, Mentor: The Kid & The CEO, and Think and Grow Rich.

Within a few short days, the inmates of my housing unit devoured these deeply profound and inspiring pieces of literary treasure. Personally, I heard one man state that Mentor: The Kid & The CEO, then The Purpose Driven Life, were the first two books he had EVER read, at the age of 62. He is now working his way (slowly) through Think and Grow Rich, by Mr. Napoleon Hill. Also, a previously professed atheist has had a true turn of thought and heart after reading The Purpose Driven Life. He now attends church services and has begun reading the Bible.

Having read all three titles and now on my third reading of Mr. Hill’s work, I find myself implementing the majority of the tools shared in my daily thoughts, words, and actions. Only wishing that now, at the age of 40, I would have had this amazing little green book on hand 20 long years ago!

Daily I find myself praising all three to everyone, to get them to read our limited copies. Which leads me to the second reason for my letter.

2. This facility holds roughly 400+ men and women at any given time, far more than could read these gems in the limited number available to us. In no way would I forward a request for such a large number of books. This would be not only costly, but an unreasonable expectation and burden on your organization. Yet I would like to request a reasonable amount of the above noted, as well as any other motivating and inspiring volumes you may be able to provide.

The effects these few books have given are truly more than can be expressed by my simple words, yet I hope in some small way I have……..

From the bottom of my heart with many blessings and thanks, Happy Holidays.

Dale D.

Hi,

My name is Javon G. and I am writing you guys to let you know that I really enjoyed your book Mentor: The Kid & The CEO. This book really inspired me to better myself and to really look for a mentor like Gary. I wrote down the list in the back of the book and I apply it every day. I’m asking if you guys have any other books that you can send me. As you can see, I’m incarcerated at the time – soon to be released – but for the time being I enjoy reading and working on myself as a whole mentally and spiritually. So if you guys have any material that you can send me I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for your time.

God Bless!

My name is Manuel M. I am currently incarcerated for felony DWI. Alcohol has been a big part of destroying my life, and I would like to take a new step in life. I am asking if you can mail me a copy of an Alcoholics Anonymous book so I can focus on it while I await court.

Thank you for your time and I pray that you can provide me a book.

Thank you!

Dear Mr. Tom Pace,

Today I have hope for a positive future. My name is Alex V., and I am also currently inmate # 659—. This will be my second conviction within my 28 years of life. I have been lost for the past 18 years on this earth. For the first time, I feel found. I feel a purpose to the trials I have faced throughout my time. I had no hope, no direction. Until today. Today I have finished my second book within ten years.

This book alone gives me faith. It gives me hope that there can still be a better tomorrow. That today I can take the steps to breaking a family curse. I have never thought that the knowledge from a book alone could help me feel in control of my life. I wanted to reach out and thank you. For today I can truly live the life I have been blessed with. The “Mentor: The Kid & The CEO” book has changed my life forever. Your book will always be with me. For it gave me hope at my lowest, and the tools to change tomorrow. Thank you……

Alex V.

Thank you so much for your kindness and philanthropy. I am so grateful for finding this gift – an Alcoholics Anonymous Big Book – brand new in the library.

No one knows how it got here or even who received it. This jail of 1200 inmates has a rehab program of 40 beds – that’s the only place you’ll find recovery and sobriety. No AA or NA meetings available, nor literature. This copy I’m holding is one of less than ten inside the whole jail.

I will do everything I can to positively share the message contained in this book until I leave in April. God bless you for the contribution.

Happy Holidays,

MJ

My name is Anthony S. I am incarcerated in a Texas prison and have been for 12 years. I am expected to be released Jan. 2020 – very soon for me. I have been reading the wonderful Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill a neighbor of mine possesses. I had heard many great things about this book before I had the chance to read it. I did not know where I could obtain a copy to help me bring my business ideas to reality upon my release. I have the burning desire to do just that, being that we live in a great country of capitalism. I know if I have the principles it teaches within reach, with the help of God I can achieve greatness. If you can find it in your heart to send me this great book, I would be very grateful. I am able to receive books through the mail. Thank you and the World Family.

Respectfully,

Anthony S.

My name is J.T. and I’m writing you because I have recently read Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, and I really enjoyed it. It has some amazingly useful information in it that I have begun to implement in my everyday life, and I am slowly but surely seeing progress. I noticed at the end of the book it talked about another book called The Laws of Success which is also written by Napoleon Hill and I am interested in it also. So if you could please send me that book I would be very grateful, because unfortunately I’m incarcerated and these books keep me positive and sane by doing something constructive, and they also are preparing me for when I get released. Showing me how to get rich the legal way so I don’t ever have to come back and maybe I can influence other people with what I’m learning so they don’t ever have to come back.

Thank you,

J.T.

Hi, my name is Monica B. I’m currently incarcerated at the Dallas County Jail. I came across a book that an inmate here had that I really enjoyed reading. But the individual who had it has left. I’ve been trying to get one but have had no luck. I had not read a book since high school. But this book, The Purpose Driven Life, caught my attention. I’m not sure if I’ll get one or not, if not, it’s okay. But I thought it would be worth a shot to try and see if by any chance you could send one my way. I’ve been inspired to read other daily devotionals and the Bible thanks to your book.

Thank you,

Monica B.

I would like to say thank you to the World Family for this book that I picked up at church. I’ve always heard of it but never had it, until I saw it at church and I knew it was meant for me to have. Since reading this book it has changed my mindset and the way I think and look at a lot of this. I’ve been reading this book every day of my incarceration and it has helped me a lot. I try to build and improve my character based on the book. I just want to say thank you once again and pray that everyone gets to read it at least once in their lifetime.

With Love,

Clinton O.

My name is John H. and I just read Think and Grow Rich for the 3rd time and this book is real good for the mind. At the moment I am in prison and I have nothing but time to work on my mind. Hopefully Mr. Pace you will respond to me. I was wondering if by chance you could send me a copy of the Laws of Success. I know everything is mental. So whatever material on the mind, please send. I am very interested, I look forward to hearing from you, and may everything good happen for you and yours.

Thanks you,

John H.

I want everyone at World Book Bank, and the Pace Family too, to know that I just finished my 2nd reading of Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich. I now plan to re-read this book every year. Thank you so very much for introducing me to this book! In my 40 years, I’ve not read another that impacted me so significantly. I’m considered autistic, scaled in the range formerly classified as Asberger’s Syndrome. I’ve spent my life learning every random thing that caught my interest, and I’ve never been able to figure out why, with all that knowledge, I’ve never been able to succeed in life.

Until now, my life has been utterly pointless. Worse, my existence has been a detriment to those around me, even while I struggled to contribute. My 16 years of incarceration show just how miserably I’ve failed. And as each year passed, I hoped and prayed to become the man my family needs, but I never felt….well, I never felt.

Until now. I now not only have hope in my future, I have a plan. And as that plan has come together, the details clearer as each moment passes, a feeling of desire and purpose has filled me. I’ve never felt before. Well, sad, depressed, and hopeless, sure, but this is awesome. I feel!

Think and Grow Rich has changed my life and the lives of my family and friends too.

Thank you! All of you, thank you so very much. When I get out of prison in mid-2020, I will finally begin to live. Your kindness has touched my life so significantly, I can only pray you are as blessed as you have blessed others, because I could never repay the debt I owe.

That I could ever think to ask for more seems absurd, but I think you may be able to further my efforts with another book that I desperately need. Those with autism are without interpersonal skills, by and large. My two hurdles have been my lack of drive, or former lack I should say, and a sense of confusion in other people and my interactions with them. I can look at some new machine, take it apart and rebuild it without even thinking about it, but people…..well I’m lost when it comes to people.

Would you consider sending me the book, How to Win Friends and Influence People, by Dale Carnegie? Considering the impact of your first recommendation, I think this book will finish the job of making me a new man. Heck, I’ll be honest and say it, “a new man” is a lie. I wasn’t a man before. I think this book will finish the job of making me a man.

Thank you for your kindness, time, and consideration. The world is better because of you!

Very Sincerely,

David S.

I would first like to say that i am writing in regards to a book that I found in county jail awaiting prison transfer. It was in the hands of another inmate and when I asked him about it, he told me it was an amazing little book that had opened his mind. I write to you because, though you did not write the book, your name was on the back cover and I would so dearly love to change my life……I hope you will grant me the opportunity to read Napoleon Hill’s book “Think and Grow Rich….” The day is young my friend, and I plan to seize it! God bless the earth and all her people!

Your friend,

Ardie P.

Dear Mr. Pace & Family,

Hello, my name is David L. I am a big fan of your book “The Mentor.” I read it back in the middle of 2017 while I was in Oklahoma County. I have always wanted to participate in a triathlon, so the book inspired me to start preparing myself to become a marathon runner. The book has helped motivate me to do more and be more. I have also read the book Think and Grow Rich. It has been an invaluable resource to me. I have learned how to focus my attention and efforts, to define where I’m at and what I’m lacking, and to believe in myself. Without your ministry providing the books, I highly doubt that I would be undergoing this amazing transformation. Thank you so much.

I have read Think and Grow Rich at least three times and each time I get more from it. I have recently come into possession of another copy. I became very excited to have my own personal copy because they are very hard to find here at Jackie Brannon. For the first time I now see the importance of multiple minds coming together and sharing their ideas and thoughts based on the material in the book.

I have a group of individuals that would like to participate in the reading and understanding and sharing of ideas and thoughts on this book. We will meet once a week starting in a few weeks. So far I have 15 signees and would like to know if it’s possible for us to receive a donation of these books sent to our chapel here at Jackie Brannon Correctional Center? Thank you so much it would be a great honor and privilege for each of us to have our own copy.

I also have a more personal matter. I am looking to be back in Oklahoma City by the beginning of next year. I have a wife and kids that I would love to come home to. In the event that I am sure I will not have a place to go, do you have any places you would recommend? I am eager to work and get back on my feet. I am a man of God who takes pride in representing Him. I’m trying to stay away from sober living and the like. I am seeking a warm place that will help me get back to being an independent productive man of society. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this letter and for considering the details within. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

God Bless,

David L.

Hi. My name is Aaron C. and I would like to request a copy of Think and Grow Rich. My buddy had it and I read it. The knowledge that I gained from that book is priceless. I need my own copy so I can further my education. From only reading it once, that book has helped me understand how to be better in almost every aspect. So please if y’all could send me a copy it would be much appreciated.

Please and thank you,

Aaron C.

First let me say that I hope this letter reaches you and your entire family in the best of health and high spirits.

Well, I just finished reading Think and Grow Rich, and to be honest, this was one of the most influential books I’ve ever read. It has not only given me the inspiration I needed, it has changed the way I look at life, and especially the way I look at myself. It has caused me to look past belief. I now Know that All things are possible when following the formula presented in this powerful book. I just would like to thank you and your entire family for this golden opportunity…..Although I am incarcerated, I gave my life over to God and I am only trying to better myself in every possible way.

Thank you and take care,

Kevin S.

Hi! Hello!

It was on my heart to write and say thank you so very much for blessing me! I am an inmate currently. I put a request in to get a copy of the book The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren and I finally got it for free from the jail’s program center. On the back of my book it says “A gift for you from the Pace family.” I love presents! This book is gonna change my life! Now, I’m only on day 1, I actually just completed it, but I already can feel it, feel the excitement of the end result……

I just wanted to say God bless you and thank you for what you are doing! Changing Lives!!!

I just want to write and say I thank God for y’all. Thank you for making Rick Warren’s The Purpose Driven Life available to me at the Georgia State Penitentiary about four months ago. That was the first time that I read the book and all praise and glory goes to God for the changes that He has been doing through His Holy Spirit in my life. Thanks again for your faithfulness to serving Him and may He bless y’all for it!

With love your brother in Christ,

Stephen H.

I just finished reading Think and Grow Rich. This book was the start of my new beginning. In reading this book I found my true desire. I always knew what I wanted just never had that desire, and when I would have that desire I would let it fade away. This book has helped me find my true desire which is to find that inner peace, but it didn’t just help me find it, it has helped me keep it alive; burning inside of me knowing I will achieve it………

Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. I have gained much from Think and Grow Rich, and know that I will have much more to gain from The Laws of Success.

Sincerely,

Steven F.

Greetings. I am currently doing some time here at the Coffield penitentiary. Today I was sitting on a bench in our day room watching TV….and a fellow inmate, next to me, discovered a book. We looked at it and the first thing I noticed was the title, Think and Grow Rich. Then, I read what Mr. Pace wrote on the back of the book…About how that book helped to change his life and influence his way of thinking in a positive manner. He stated that Think and Grow Rich, by Napoleon Hill, influenced his life in such a way that he is now promoting the book and giving away free copies. Awesome!

May I please have a free copy of the book? By any chance do y’all have a workbook that comes with it? I will put it to good use. Thank you. Respectfully,

Jason

How are you doing? I am an inmate at NHCCC and I got one of your gifts: Rick Warren’s The Purpose Driven Life. The book changed my life in many ways. I just want to say thank you for the gift and God bless you guys. I will walk out of here a new man with a purpose. I finally found the missing piece to my life and finally have a sense of peace. Thanks for the gift once again and have a blessed day.

My name is Jason A. and I am presently incarcerated, and have been for 20 years come this Oct. I had the privilege of starting a book titled Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. The copy of the book belonged to another fellow inmate so I was not able to complete the reading of it. At the present time I am indigent and would like to receive a copy of Think and Grow Rich, as well as any other reading material the World Family may have to offer. The little bit of the book that I was able to take in has really helped me put into perspective a lot of things and principles in life it takes to be successful and I would like to continue to study…..Thank you!

First of all, I want to tell you thank you! I am currently in the county jail awaiting court and I will soon be out of this jail by July 11th. I found a book that you sent here called Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill and I just finished reading it and I have to say that I was blown away by this book and the knowledge it contains. I am still digesting and also reading over a lot of the information that is within it and I have to say again, thank you, because I know that this book has definitely changed my life and also my way of thought and understanding! I found it on the bookshelf here in the county jail and I know for a fact that I needed to read it. I thank God that I was able to read it…..Respectfully,

Christopher G.

Hello, my name is Josh S. and I’m 36 years old and after reading your book Think and Grow Rich, I just want to say thank you. You’ve left a mark upon my heart that’s priceless. The 13 principles as well as Napoleon’s philosophy is amazing and has inspired me in such a way that I tell everyone about this book, and if applied, the person you can become. Hard work, dedication, and self-discipline are only words until applied. Today this book has got me wanting to achieve success in a 1,000 different ways. So in so many words, thank you for your contribution to all of us who want to become better men, better people through hard work and dedication.

Sincerely,

Josh S.

My name is Paul M. I’m a detainee in the Cook County Jail located in Chicago, Illinois. I’m writing you to thank you for your generous donation. I received two books donated by your family: Think and Grow Rich, and Mentor: The Kid & The CEO. Both were great, however your mentor book and the ‘pay it forward’ idea has moved me the most. Even in a horrible place that I’m in I found your book giving me new inspiration so much I can’t put it into words. Thank you very much. Your book also lead me to Og Mandino’s The Greatest Miracle in the World. That was more life changing for me. For a man that has done a lot of bad I now know that I have a second chance. Thank you again. The way I knew to contact you is from Mr. Emil B, who is our AA speaker who gave us your books. Mr. Pace you have been so generous, I really appreciate it. If you have any more books to donate please send them. I know everyone could use a copy of the mentor book….God bless you and your family.

I just wanted to write thanking you for donating The Purpose Driven Life to the Lubbock County Detention Center. My girlfriend and I have battled addiction for a while. We’re both in here and both, separately, have come to seek Jesus in our lives. It’s been an extremely rewarding pursuit for both of us.

We’ve both started working the P.D.L. (what we call ‘the book’) and LOVE IT! We both deeply appreciate your gift. Thank you for guiding us to a better, purpose-driven life. With deepest gratitude,

Nathan T.

Greetings! I hope that all is well with your family and that this short note of appreciation reaches the proper hands. I write not knowing if the address I have is current and without knowing the purpose of your campaign, This is not to detract from your ministry or desire to inspire the less fortunate. I will elaborate. Currently, I am in a federal holding facility in Wilbur, NE awaiting a jury trial. While here I completed The Purpose Driven Life – donated by the Pace family. I don’t need to tell you the value of that life-changing book but I feel driven to say thank you! Before being brought here I was in Denver, CO in county jail. At that facility I was able to get a copy of Think and Grow Rich. I was only a few chapters in before being transferred, but it will be there when I return to CDOC. I have always passed up reading that book because it was written in 1939. Boy, what a mistake! Again, thank you for the wonderful gift of knowledge. My goal upon release is to work with a re-entry center helping people get back to their lives in a positive, God-centered way. I also plan to work on legislative change ……I will close with a silent prayer of gratitude for people like you. Thank you for caring and believing people can change.

Sincerely,

Matthew S.

My name is Jake C., and I’m currently an inmate in Douglas County Jail in Omaha, NE. The reason for my letter is to simply tell you thank you.

My girlfriend once told me about a book titled A Purpose Driven Life, and how it had a profound impact on the way she viewed the world around her. I simply nodded and filed it away in my memory bank as something to check out should I ever get the chance. Well, don’t you know, a fellow inmate went home last week and left a stack of books by his bed so I went over looking for something to pass the time and low and behold I find Rick Warren’s book.

I currently am only on Day 9 and I am finding it hard not to skip forward and keep reading days! But I flipped the book over and saw that this book was a gift from the Pace Family in Oklahoma! Anyways, I wanted to let you know your gift was graciously received way up here in Nebraska by someone who definitely lost view of God’s purpose, and I wanted to say again thank you for the thoughtful gift.

Sincerely,

Jake C.

Hello, How are you?

I just finished reading your book – Mentor: The Kid & The CEO. Wow. This book is so inspiring and mind opening. It is hard to get books here in seg(regation), but when I got this one it’s given me hope, drive, and a vision for my future, even though my out date is 2032. I read this book and it gives me hope, so I thank you for this book you wrote, and I hope I can find a mentor to teach, lead, and guide/direct me. Thank you for your time.

Respectfully,

Bradley C

Hi, my name is Antonio J. I am incarcerated in the Harris County Jail and I have your books that were given to me by the chaplain in the jail. I don’t know if it was your book or not because it had Napoleon Hill’s name on it. It was entitled Think and Grow Rich…….I would like to say that it was an awesome book. I pray that you could send me some books of yours if you have any. Thank you both for changing my life.

Sincerely,

Antonio J.

My name is Anthony P. I am currently incarcerated at Hutchins State Jail in Texas, and your book Think and Grow Rich was given to me. I cannot begin to tell you of the knowledge, confidence, and mindfulness I learned from the book. I would love to read any of your books especially if your book is about psychology, meditation, or the brain – period. Please if you would send me another one of your books that’s about self help. Can you send a different book that’s not the previous read one? Hopefully it’s bigger and has a lot of knowledge.

Sincerely,

Anthony P.

Hello, my name is Jesse Johnny E. and I’m currently serving a 4 year sentence in TDCJ at the Garza West Unit in Beeville, TX. I’m writing to you about the Think and Grow Rich book by author Napoleon Hill. I would like to ask if I could receive a free copy of my own. I read part of it in Brazoria County Jail and it influenced me to become someone and to be a law abiding citizen upon my release. I took the address off the 1938 edition green cover book. I would greatly appreciate it and just know that this book would have a tremendous impact on my life and others I will share it with…..Thank you. God bless you and your family.

Sincerely,

Jesse E.

I’m incarcerated at Taylor County Jail in Abilene, Texas. I would like very much to have The Purpose Driven Life and a Narcotics Anonymous text if possible. I’m so sick & tired of living this life. I keep going back to drugs & I’m so tired of it. I hate being high & I hate not having it. I want to stay clean & sober. I hate how it makes me feel. I can’t get clean unless I’m locked away. I can honestly say I’m glad I’m in jail and I’m not on drugs. It’s the most horrible life. I need help & I need workbooks to guide me in the right direction. I turned my life over to God & I want to follow in the direction he has for my life. I’d rather die or stay locked away than to live that life. I’d rather spend the rest of my life here than one more day of the hell I was in on drugs. I’m sorry, I had no intention of going into all of this. I’m not going to re-write it. Just please pray for me.

Thank you,

Shirleen Z.

First of all I want to thank you for all that you do. I came across a book a fellow inmate was reading here titled, Think and Grow Rich, and would like it very much if you would find it in your heart to send me a free copy as I don’t have any funds to pay for it. The man who had the book has since left and the book went with him apparently.

I was able to thumb through it and I think this book is exactly what I need in my life. I still have another year to serve and to be totally honest, the jail book cart has nothing on it that interests me. I’ve always wanted to be in business for myself and have dreamed of being successful but unfortunately I made a foolish decision in 2008…..

I regret doing everything that has led me to this point and only want to be a successful, productive member of society. I believe it is not too late for me, so that’s why I’m asking you to please send me the Napoleon Hill book as well as any other books you sense I can utilize on my road to success.

Sincerely,

Robert F. S.

How are you sir? I want to thank you for giving books away as gifts to us here at the Stevenson Unit. Unfortunately, the last copy of Think and Grow Rich was given away 5 minutes before I got to the Church House. I asked if they were going to have more on the next coming Sunday and they said “no.” That they didn’t have any more and the books went like hot cakes. I’m sure they did because I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about Napoleon Hill and his teachings. The following days I would hear people talking about the book in the rec yard and at the chow hall. I asked one of the guys if he was willing to sell me his copy when he was done reading it. I was shut down but he did tell me that the books were gifts from you and your family and that there was an address where I can write to you. So my question to you Mr. Pace is: Is there any way that I can get a copy of Think and Grow Rich? If shipping will be a problem please let me know. I don’t mind sending stamps to do so. Let me know exactly how many stamps you are going to need. I really need that book Mr. Pace. I’m tired of coming back to prison and I believe the book will help me out on being successful and prosperous. I’ll be patiently waiting for your response and thank you for your time Mr. Pace.

Hello, my name is Ruben. I am an inmate at Wasco State Prison Reception Center in Wasco, California. I am writing to thank you for the gift you gave. The book, The Purpose Driven Life. I received the book from a fellow inmate after me and him had a conversation concerning God. The book came at the right moment in my life since I had so much anxiety regarding my life. I was desperate and hopeless. Nothing I did helped me or eased my suffering. Ever since I started reading the book I have felt that God is taking care of my pain and healing me. I study the book in the morning and I look up all the Bible verses. Throughout the day I meditate on what I have learned and I share some of the Bible verses with other inmates. I am currently on day 22. It is no coincidence that ever since I put my life in God’s hands I feel a sense of hope and purpose. I want to thank you since you were part of the solution to my problems. May God bless you for gifting this wonderful book to us in prison. May all the glory be to our God and Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. I am full of joy. Thank you very much.

Sincerely,

Ruben

Hello, my name is Peter P and for the past 10 months I have been incarcerated fighting a federal indictment. I decided when I first got arrested that I would not leave jail the same person. That I would use this time to better myself in every area of my life. My goal is to be polished, fine tuned, and educated in every area of business and consulting. Recently we had a book exchange and I came across the book Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, and on the back it had your information. Although I didn’t get to keep that book I wanted to write your family to see if you had any motivational self-help books you could donate to me while I’m incarcerated? I would really appreciate it if you were able to do that.

Thank you so much,

Peter P.

Hello, My name is Jennifer R., and I am currently incarcerated at the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office in Memphis, TN. I am writing to see if you could send me some reading material for Alcoholics Anonymous. My usage has led me to jail and I am tired of the endless cycle. I understand if you cannot, but if possible it would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Jennifer R.

My name is Whitney M. and I am currently incarcerated in Taylor County Jail in Abilene, TX. First of all, I want to say thank you. I read The Purpose Driven Life, by Rick Warren and it saved my life. I live in a town where there was a church literally on every corner, but I seemed to be spending my time in the middle instead. I was on the go all the time, and coming to jail, it made me stay put and still and make time for God. I now know what my purpose in life is. I thought it was getting high and escaping my pain but I was just escaping from the better plans God has for me. So I am now living for God and dying to live for eternity with Him. I don’t have anyone in the free world to turn to, so I hold this book to my heart dearly and know that I’ll always have a home so long as I’m worshiping the man upstairs. I was reborn again on February 28th, 2019 and it was the best decision I’ve made in all 23 years on earth. I was hoping that there was any way you had The Purpose Driven Life Journal or any other free items I could read and learn and grow from as I did from this book. If not, I apologize profusely for asking and I wish you and your family a blessed day.

With much respect,

Whitney M.

Hi, my name is Josiah Y. and I am currently incarcerated in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. I have recently come across a book called Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. This book was passed along to me by a guy who has gone home and I never got the chance to thank him.

This book has given me a renewed way of thinking and a DESIRE for success. And the faith to achieve this success. I saw your address on the back of this book and I wanted to say thank you for sending this book out into the universe. You are truly a blessing.

Thank you,

Josiah Y.

I hope my letter finds you well in every way. I’m writing to express my gratitude to your organization for your dedication to your fellow man. The books I’ve come across due to your continued distribution and concern have without fail inspired me and reignited in me a passion and desire toward self growth and enrichment to such a degree I felt I must contact you.

I was able to borrow a copy of Think and Grow Rich from a passing book cart about 3 weeks ago and have read and re-read the volume cover-to-cover as instructed, a chapter a night. I’m sure I don’t have to tell you how powerful the text is, nor how in control of my own destiny and future the principles taught inside have made me feel. Thank you again for a new opportunity and perspective!

I would love a list or catalog of any other books your organization recommends or distributes and instructions on how I would be able to receive more material from y’all in the future. Please feel free to send me any you feel appropriate for my continued self growth – you would really be providing me an incalculable service and I promise to pass each volume down or on to each individual I come across.

Again – Thank you –

Jeremy A

You don’t know me, but I’m Steven C. I am in custody at Brazoria County Jail in Angleton, Texas. I am also a 20-year veteran and I am awaiting trial on burglary charges. I do not know if you are still at this address, but I happened upon it while looking at the back cover of The Purpose Driven Life, by Rick Warren….I wanted you to know that it has brought light into a dark place. This is not my first time to read The Purpose Driven Life, but I felt the spirit telling me to send you a thank you. From the condition of this copy, and the many notes taken in the pages, I believe that your gift has probably influenced many people who were lost. Thank you again.

Sincerely,

Steven C.

My name is Mark (Cling) B. I saw a donated book from you at the prison chapel. When reading the book Think and Grow Rich, I had a profound realization that if I would have read and applied the book to my life at an early age, I would have never seen the inside of a prison. Well, maybe I would have, but it would have been to help someone in prison, rather than be corrected.

I am 52 years old and went my whole life without making my dreams or goals happen. I am eligible for release August, 2019. My goals and inspirations are in order. They are significant not only for self improvement, but also to help others see and achieve what I should have seen for myself at a young age. The profound realization I’ve had from your book will make me succeed with confidence and most importantly pay if forward to help people see for themselves what your gift has done for me. Thank you!

Sincerely thankful,

Mark (Cling) B.

I am writing this letter requesting a copy of the reproduction of the 1st edition Alcoholics Anonymous book (The red book). I am currently in a women’s prison called Mission Creek in Belfair, WA. I love AA and I attend meetings 1-2 times weekly. There at one point were a couple of copies here, but they were limited. If at all possible I would love a copy for myself, but the prison could use some as well….Thank you – Current AA member,

I am writing you today because I have read the book entitled Mentor: The Kid & The CEO. Considering my circumstances, I was inspired by the story and have found a new sense of purpose and a determination to change my life. In the story, the book Think and Grow Rich was given to Tony (the kid) by Malcolm (the CEO), and it is also on the list in the back of the book under “Suggested Reading.” I am currently indigent and I am unable to purchase anything I desire or need. So I am wondering if you could send me a copy of Think and Grow Rich, by Napoloen Hill, and perhaps any other book you think is as equally inspirational and life changing. I hope my inspiration is not all for nothing. I do appreciate your time and consideration in this matter. I look forward to a response from you. Thank you and God bless.

Sincerely,

Jose A.

I would like to receive a fine copy of Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich. This book is amazing and I’ve had the chance to read it once. I would like to own my very own copy. This book has become my rock and foundation and has taught me to never give in to failure. It really is a dose of power to the mind re-inducing the burning fire that I had lost long ago. I can see myself doing great things upon my release from [prison], conquering all the dreams I’ve dreamt of. I am incarcerated right now, but I will be out hopefully by the end of the year…….

Before I read this book I had completely given up and I lost all desire to achieve. Failure had buried me deep. But as soon as I read this book, I felt alive again. I said to myself, “I’m going to buy my dad a house; a big house.” I told myself that I’m going to afford him a better medicine for his sickness. I will motivate the rest of my sisters and brothers to go to college and we will once more be a fully operational family. This book taught me that family is first.

I am once again burning with desire; to do it for them: That is what the Andrew Carnegie formula has done for me.

Thank you,

Joseph W

My name is Brian and I am writing to say thank you for your gift of The Purpose Driven Life, by Rick Warren. I am currently finishing a 24-year sentence in the Colorado Department of Corrections (1 year left). I came across your gift some time ago and never read it. I’m not sure why, but I just held on to it as I went from prison to prison until I recently found myself at the Colorado State Penitentiary. This prison is for the worst offenders in the Colorado system. Evil seems to lurk around every corner. Searching for answers and not knowing where to begin, I saw your gift on my shelf and picked it up. That was twenty days ago and just today saw on the back of the book that it was because of your generosity through God that I received this book. You see, I’m scared to death about getting out…..

So much has changed and the odds are stacked against me. I’m halfway through your gift and I feel a real transformation taking place. I’m becoming more aware of my sin each day. I don’t understand how I can be forgiven for all the pain I’ve caused but I know that I am. God says, “I bury your sins in the deepest sea and remember them no more.” I guess it’s time I forget them too. I’m not sure of what my purpose is yet but I know with 100% certainty what it isn’t. My purpose is not to be in prison. There must be a greater calling for me than this. Thanks to your family and the gift you’ve given me. I may just find out what God has in store for me.

Thank you will all my heart,

Brian T.

My name is Giavany S. I am currently incarcerated at the Denton County Jail. Since I’ve been here, I came across one of your books, Mentor: The Kid & The CEO, and it was a good read. I definitely got a lot from it. Some of the principles in that book I now apply to my daily life. I find myself thinking and doing things that I normally wouldn’t have done on my own. Also, I had gotten a copy of Think and Grow Rich, and even though I’m in the early stages of that book, it has been such a phenomenal read as well. It wasn’t until I read the back of the book that I realized this book was gifted from you. I just want to thank you personally for that. These books have changed my life in a place that I never would have imagined. It was through these books that I found the spark and drive and willingness to change and I feel that transformation happening every day. And I’m hungry for more! I definitely want to learn about you and your organization, and the things that you guys do and I would like to know if there is any way I can contribute to that. Also, I would like to see if there are any more books that your organization gives away and, if possible, to have them sent my way. It would be most appreciated. Once again, I would like to thank you for everything. I’m sure I’m one of the many that have been touched by the things you do. Hope to hear from you soon.

Sincerely,

Giavany

I am writing you this letter regarding a book named Think and Grow Rich, by Napoleon Hill. I am currently in prison and a friend has been letting me read this book and I am blown away by it. I believe in the Power of Positive Thinking and this book goes along with my beliefs. Is it possible you could send me a copy of this book or tell me how I can purchase it? Thank you very much for your time and help. May you all be blessed with an awesome New Year!

Hi, my name is Nehemiah C. and I’m recently incarcerated at the Dominguez Unit in San Antonio, TX, and I ran across the Think and Grow Rich book by Napoleon Hill – The original 1938 edition. I was blown away by the material in that book….It changed my life. I always wanted to start my own business and this book gave me the right information I needed to become successful, and it was very uplifting. What inspired me the most was the first 2 chapters on desire and faith, and the formula he gave made me feel like I will be successful for life. It helped change my whole mindset. It gave me peace, and a positive direction in life. Here’s a quote which I read every day that gets me through the day – it’s in the chapter on Imagination: “God seems to throw himself on the side of the man who knows exactly what he wants if he is determined to get just that.” So in closing, I would like to ask if you can send me a copy of Think and Grow Rich ….So I can become a better father and productive person in life.”

Thanks,

Nehemiah C.

Thank you for your contribution to the restoration of the mind, body, and souls of the men here at the Wynne Unit “Last Man Standing” AA group. It’s such a wonderful experience to see the Spirit come alive in another man’s eyes and it is only able to happen through acts of love such as your donation. God Bless you all.

I’ve been here on the Wynne for five years and it’s only until recently we have been able to have an ongoing Big Book (Alcoholics Anonymous) study. I love them. Open discussion meetings serve their purpose, but real help comes from study of the solution – The Big Book. Thank you again from all the guys here at the Wynne!

Sincerely,

John W.

My name is Dr. Nathaniel Hearne. I’m the Chaplain at the Boyd Unit in Teague, Texas where we have been blessed by your generous book ministry. Words can’t describe how thankful and grateful we are to be on the receiving end of such a wonderful gift.

I have seen tremendous spiritual growth in the men on this unit who take the opportunity to engage themselves in the books you so graciously donated. The enlightenment and knowledge they have expressed to me regarding the depth of wisdom in the books we received from your ministry is amazing and rewarding.

I’m of the opinion this is one of the greatest benefits ever offered to any man on this unit. I’m really appreciative of the numerous resources you provide.

Sincerely,

Dr. Nathaniel Hearne

My Name is Julian H. and I am an inmate here at Gist Unit in Beaumont, TX. I was gifted two books from the chaplain here at the unit, which were Think and Grow Rich, and Mentor: The Kid & the CEO. These two books are powerful. Because of these books, I now think only in a positive way, I now write down my plans of action, and I now seek only specialized knowledge. These books have definitely helped me rehabilitate and do my time here in prison. I love to read and I would be forever grateful if you could send me some more books to read and apply to my life once I am released from prison.

Thank you.

Julian H.

I received a book (The Purpose Driven Life) that was gifted by you. I felt the need to take the time to say thank you. I don’t know if you donated one or one-thousand books, but this copy was received by me, at a time when I needed it the most. Lost, alone, in prison. I learned from my pastor growing up if someone is nice enough to do something for you, have enough sense to say thanks. So I can’t do much but say thanks, and LET THE WORDS OF THIS BOOK INSPIRE CHANGE IN MY LIFE & THEN SPREAD THE WORD & ENCOURAGE OTHERS.

Humbly written,

Karmen W.

I would like to thank you and your family for the gift I’m reading. The book called The Purpose Driven Life. I love this book. That has always been my question: What on earth am I doing here, and for what? I understand finally why I’m here and what I must do for God. Thank you very much for the book.

God Bless your family,

Hi! My name is James C. I am currently incarcerated and was in the library the other day, where I picked up a book called Think and Grow Rich, by Napoleon Hill. I would like you to know that this book has been a great inspiration to me. I hope to be able to put the information in this book to use in my life as well. From start to finish I have not skipped one page without underlining or circling something on every page. I guess you could say that I have made this book mine. I plan on taking it home with me and putting it to use in my life.Thank you so much for this book. I am currently indigent but at the end of this book it speaks of Napoleon Hill’s Law of Success. I would greatly appreciate even a used copy of this book. Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

James C.

Hello. You don’t know me but my name is Augustus James C. I am a Utah State Prison inmate wrapping up my almost 3-year sentence in Beaver County Jail. Anyway, the reason for this postcard is to say I am bound & determined to be a successful entrepreneur upon my release, and your book, Mentor: The Kid & The CEO really gave me inspiration & additional tools that I know will help me in my journey.

Thank you!

My name is Marco M. and I have been reading Think and Grow Rich. It was given to me in a program while incarcerated and truly opened my mind up. Unfortunately, officers took this book due to the limit of books one can have in the cell and was wondering if you guys could send me another copy. I hope it’s not too much to ask. I just want to continue reading this inspirational book. When I had first received it I didn’t even bother to take a look but something just drew me in and one day slowly but surely I began to read. When you’re out in the free world you don’t even bother to read books due to the fast way of life one lives, but since in incarceration you have nothing but time, realization sinks in when you uncover the knowledge a book can truly carry. I sometimes believe things happen for a reason but then free will always makes me question this because if this was to be destined to happen then free will does not exist. But that’s just a thought. Nobody knows why things happen, they just do and I guess adversity and triumph just mold the character and thought. I hope you can take time out of your day and send me a new copy, but if you can’t I understand. Thank you and have a nice day.

Sincerely,

Marco M.

I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for the wonderful services and books that you offer. Thus far I have read Mentor, by Tom Pace, and Think and Grow Rich, by Napoleon Hill, both of which have changed my life. I would be ever grateful for any material & books you could send to me that would aid in my growth. I am currently serving a sentence at Emanuel Women’s Facility. This time has changed me for the good in ways that are unimaginable!

Thanks again for all your help!
